Cancel and Bless

There is always an option to forgive—ourselves or others—rather than to hold onto anger, recrimination, remorse, or frustration.


Cancel and bless is a mantra to employ when someone annoys you in traffic, and your first thought is not that friendly.


When you notice your mind going toward an angry place, instead cancel the nasty thought and send a blessing—cancel and bless.


This can work on you yourself too. When you lose your temper or say something foolish, anything that makes you feel remorseful, use cancel and bless.


Forgive yourself; move on.
