Roasted Garlic and Lemon Broccoli



Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli is an excellent side dish or main dish if you would like to have a full plate of veggies! Broccoli is an excellent food to eat for great brain function.

Broccoli is flavoured with lemon, garlic and butter.


Ingredients:

  • 1 head of broccoli

  • 1 ½ tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • 3-4 cloves garlic

  • 2-3 tbsp salted butter

  • ½ tsp salt


Instructions:


  1. Preheat the oven to 215 degrees C.

  2. Cut broccoli into medium sized-florets, and bring them into a large bowl.

  3. Mince the garlic and squeeze the lemon juice out of the lemon.

  4. Melt the butter in the microwave and once it is melted add in the garlic and mix well. Pour the mixture into the bowl of broccoli. Toss to coat evenly.

  5. Sprinkle broccoli with salt and lemon juice.

  6. Spread broccoli onto a baking sheet.

  7. Bake in the oven for 17-20 minutes.

  8. Serve and enjoy!
